Your Impact: The Director, Technical Engagement will lead our team of Technical Engagement Managers (TEMs) who play a vital role in the delivery of client solutions to Fortune 1000 Insurance carriers. This team oversees critical deployments, change management, and ensures success of our products for our large customers. Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience owning, navigating, and successfully delivering large, complex engagements with large Enterprise customer organizations with a focus on professional service delivery.
• Proven success managing enterprise client portfolios with a NRR of $20M+
• 7+ years directly managing and upskilling a team of technical client facing employees
• Comprehensive understanding of project management practices, implementation lifecycle and ability to deliver on ambitious timelines
• Experience working in a cross-functional environment and leading client services efforts across distributed teams
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to executives/decision makers
• Create visually compelling presentations
• Experience with Jira, Google Workspace, Slack and Lookr

About You: you are an NLP Large Language Model (LLM) Tech Lead with proficiency in fine-tuning, training models, and handling vast datasets. Key Responsibilities:

Model Development and Fine-tuning:

• Work closely with the data science team to fine-tune and optimize existing LLMs for specific tasks.
• Develop custom training procedures to address unique challenges and requirements.

Data Management:

• Acquire, preprocess, and manage vast datasets.
• Ensure data quality, relevance, and integrity for model training and validation.

Research and Implementation:

• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in NLP and LLM technology.

Performance Evaluation:

Collaboration:

• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate LLMs into end-user applications.

Documentation:

Requirements:

• 3+ years of related experience preferably at a B2B SaaS product company, especially in highly scalable production environments.
• Significant NLP Large Language Model experience, ideally as a Tech Lead.

• 7+ years of DevOps experience
• Extensive experience designing and running production systems on GCP
• Ability to duplicate our GCP infrastructure in AWS so that we can deliver our core product to customers regardless of their prefered environment
• Deep exposure and familiarity to networking concepts, Kubernetes clusters, Docker, containerized development, Terraform, Helm, Dagster (DE), VertexAI (ML), and ArgoCD
• Experience integrating with Splunk and security software, such as vulnerability scanners

Requirements:

• 4+ year(s) experience as a product manager in an enterprise software environment or high production environment
• Experience conducting market research and assessing competition
• Able to ask the critical questions to ask in order to identify, qualify and satisfy customer needs
• Exposure to AI and ML technical concepts is a plus
• Experience running pilot programs with early stage products and samples

• Lead and develop a team of 4 or more Product Managers building cutting edge AI products for the insurance industry
• Manage new products through their lifecycle
• Prioritize product and customer requirements
• Drive forward the vision and specification of our machine learning platform
• Help define and scale our product processes and culture
• Execute delivery on winning products

Requirements:

• Ideally 9+ years of working in a high production environment in preferably the B2B SaaS space
• Exudes our ambitious, collaborative, and empathetic values
• Has deep experience with data-driven and/or machine learning products
• A strong track record of managing and developing teams of 5 or more Product Managers
• A pioneer that identifies new decisions to bring under management, is able to execute an initial sale and delivery as well as enable our GTM strategy to repeat and scale
• Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate through written and verbal communication
• Has demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
• Has a self-starter mentality with an eagerness to solve previously unsolved problems
• Can effectively correspond between technical and non-technical audiences
• Open to giving and receiving critical feedback and collaborating effectively across teams
• Ability to work our of our NYC office 3-4 days a week
