Your Impact: The Senior Accountant will delve into an engaging role, ensuring the financial robustness of our rapidly evolving company through the implementation of new processes and immersion in operational accounting. About You:
- 4-6 years of overall accounting experience
- 2+ years of experience in audit roles within national accounting firms
- 2+ years of experience in a post-revenue SaaS start-up environment
- Proficient understanding of ASC 606, Lease accounting, and deferred commissions
- Exceptional skills in Google Sheet/Excel with the ability to build intricate amortization schedules and perform advanced financial modeling
- Self-motivated and proactive in problem-solving
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- CPA license preferred but not required
- Ability to work out of our NYC office in midtown
Responsibilities:
- Lead the year-end financial statement Audit
- Own the month end close process, maintain accounting schedules with support from external bookkeepers
- Innovate and implement new operational accounting processes
- Own AP and company credit card program, Ramp
- Other ad-hoc projects
