About the Role
The Customer Solutions Specialist will work with Casetext’s Enterprise customer success and engineering teams to manage and execute large-scale projects leveraging CoCounsel’s advanced AI technology. CoCounsel, built on GPT 4, is the first true AI based legal assistant for attorneys. It automates multiple time-consuming tasks attorneys perform regularly. It is flexible and powerful enough to be used by both solo practitioners and attorneys at AM Law 200 firms.
As the Customer Solutions Specialist, you will work closely with Casetext’s Enterprise clients to determine the best methods of prompting our AI to accomplish a wide range of tasks and determining how CoCounsel can be used to solve their challenges. This role also involves documenting best practices for prompting CoCounsel to build up a library of tools and tutorials that allows others to learn prompt engineering. You will also need to be comfortable communicating with clients, as this is a customer-facing heavy role. This role is entirely remote, but you must be based in the U.S. and authorized to work in the U.S.
As the Customer Solutions Specialist, You Will:
- Discover, test, and document best practices for a wide range of tasks relevant to our customers.
- Build up a library of high quality prompts or prompt chains to accomplish a variety of tasks, with an easy guide to help users search for the one that meets their needs.
- Build a set of tutorials and interactive tools that teach the art of prompt engineering to our customers.
- Work with large enterprise customers on their prompting strategies.
About You:
- You have a Juris Doctor Degree
- Are experienced in customer-facing roles.
- Have at least basic programming skills and would be comfortable writing small Python programs.
- Have at least a high level familiarity with the architecture and operation of large language models.
- Understand due diligence, eDiscovery, working with large documents, data rooms, etc. and how to use technology to "find the needle in the haystack"
- Are an excellent communicator, and love teaching technical concepts and creating high quality documentation that helps out others.
- Are excited to talk to motivated customers and help solve their problems.

About the Role
Casetext is looking for a Customer Support Specialist with 3+ years of experience to join our Customer Support team. Your job will be to speak to our customers about our legal research software products, including our newest product, CoCounsel, help troubleshoot problems with customers’ accounts, set up subscriptions, and support our Sales team. We are looking for someone with SaaS experience (legal industry is preferred), a person who is organized, has time management skills, great written & verbal communication skills and loves to problem-solve.
This is a full-time job that requires 40 hours per week. However, the job may not be done during traditional “business hours” during the workweek. We are actually looking for candidates who are open to exploring alternative work schedules, where a portion of the 40 hours per week can be performed in the evenings or on weekends. As a Customer Support Specialist You Will
- Speak with customers via live chat, phone, and email to help them with their Casetext accounts and help them fix problems with their accounts
- Speak to leads about the benefits and features of Casetext’s software products
- Write articles for our help center on how to use our products efficiently and troubleshoot common problems
- Support our Sales team during sales
About You
- You have 3+ years of experience in a Customer Support role for a SaaS company
- Legal industry experience (including but not limited to: a JD, Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience) preferred, but not required
- You have experience using customer support software (Intercom, HubSpot, Zendesk, or similar) for live chat, as well as phone and email support experience
- You have strong communication skills & can explain complicated issues
- You are personable with a friendly and approachable tone and positive attitude. You are a customer relationship builder and a problem solver!
- You are calm under pressure and thrive in a fast paced work environment
- You are punctual and prompt, understanding and respecting deadlines and the need to respond quickly to customers

We need someone that has a passion for legal research & technology to provide instruction to Casetext's customers using the company's suite of AI-products. In this role, you will work on some of our most complex technical challenges, exploring the frontiers of what is possible with large language models. The Innovation Department works with other groups within the company to identify their hardest-to-solve technical problems and pushes the cutting edge of technology to solve them.
