Welcome to the Solution Architect Team introduction! The mission of our team is to support the Sales Organization in communicating and demonstrating the technical value and capabilities of our AI-based products and solutions. We do this through strategic messaging and delivering customer-facing demonstrations of the technical methodologies and capabilities of our software. If you have a combination of technical curiosity, customer facing confidence, and the ability to take ownership and make things happen, then we would love to meet you.

As a Solution Architect (SA) you are responsible for discovering customer’s requirements, validation of customer data, and providing product expertise in the form of software demonstrations and asking probing questions to understand our customers’ problems and the scope of the solution required. You will be a deep technical expert on how SparkCognition software delivers technical value and how it is configured and deployed into customer environments. You will use your technical expertise and hands-on analytic capabilities to understand, communicate, and validate the customer’s data against the solution requirements.

Join us in:

  • Partnering with Product and Services teams to stay up-to-date on capabilities, roadmap, and technical delivery
  • Clearly messaging the technical value and limitations of our products in presentations and conversations
  • Developing and delivering technical content to share across the broader team to help Marketing and Sales message the solution capabilities to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Gaining customer trust by asking pointed questions and being an excellent listener during calls and meetings
  • Exceeding customer expectations with regards to responsiveness, professionalism, and honesty
  • Validating and mapping customer technical requirements to SparkCognition product capabilities while taking into account the available data, IT infrastructure, and security requirements.
  • Consolidating and communicating customer feedback to product and marketing teams
  • Providing web and in-person product and data presentations and demonstrations of SparkCognition’s software to potential customers and partners
  • Building and delivering demos using customer data to tell meaningful stories while documenting your work for both internal and external collateral
  • Keeping excellent documentation of all customer interactions
  • Scoping and writing customer proposals and responding to RFPs
  • Scoping and delivering POC engagements using customer provided data

You will have:

  • At least 5 years experience as a software engineer, technical sales, technical consulting, data analyst, data scientist, technical program manager, or similar work experience
  • At least 3 years demonstrated experience with Python and familiar with Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, and other libraries to visualize and model data using cloud-based VMs (Google, Azure, AWS)
  • At least 3 years experience in customer facing roles
  • A certificate or demonstrated experience in Data Science or Machine Learning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent listening and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership in coordinating and driving cross-functional efforts
  • Flexibility to travel 20% or as business needs require

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience working around heavy industrial environments with direct exposure to industrial safety or similar environments
  • Experience with computer vision or vision-based AI modeling
  • Experience in public speaking and promoting thought leadership
  • Experience with IP network cameras and video streaming compression standards
  • Experience configuring and deploying cloud services for compute and data storage

  • Review sales arrangements in conjunction with Legal dept and draft ASC 606 revenue analysis to ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and applicable accounting standards (POC, milestone, T&M, fixed fee)
  • Assist with financial close activities surrounding revenue recognition on complex transactions including preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Participate in developing and enforcing internal policies procedures related to revenue recognition and assist with the revenue system implementation
  • Work with our AR accountant to ensure the invoice timeline and collectability for sales arrangements including setting up new project and sales order
  • Work with Service Operations personnel to ensure the timely close of monthly timesheets in our time-tracking application
  • Work with external auditors on the audit of revenue recognition policies and transactions including providing PBC support
  • Collaborate with FP&A and Sales operation to track key financial metrics (ARR, Renewals, Gross Margin)
  • Assist with filling sales tax returns for multiple states, including researching tax guidance on statutes and rules
  • Perform record-keeping of all customer contract activities and contract deliverables
  • Assist with general ledger accounting as needed
  • Prepare ad-hoc reporting/accounting research requests from CFO, Controller, and/or FP&A


You’ll have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required at a minimum, and CPA or CPA candidate a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in Accounting with at least 1+ years in revenue accounting under ASC-606 is required
  • Experience with revenue recognition under ASC 606 and related guidance is required[DL1] [DD2]
  • Experience interpreting complex contracts and determining performance obligations as well as stand-alone selling price is required
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • High-level of proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially MS Excel) required.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and departments as well as with external representatives
  • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and FASB Accounting

Reporting to the Manager of Events and Demand Generation, the Events Coordinator will be instrumental in the execution of our third-party conferences and tradeshows programs. They will manage all aspects and optimize event participation, including sponsorship, exhibition, and speaking opportunities. This includes planning, logistics, budget, and stakeholder communication. Additionally, they will support 2-3 internal hosted events per year.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive business growth through execution of third-party conference participation
  • Manage event logistics including, contract negotiation, shipping, accounting, booth set-up, event resources, etc.
  • Research target event participation and solicit internal stakeholder feedback
  • Manage event process, both internally and externally, including event requests, legal contract review, finance invoice submission, supporting content requests, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define needs. Work cross functionally with teams throughout the organization
  • Devise creative ways to blend live action, stock footage, motion graphics, narration, and other elements to tell compelling stories.
  • Develop outlines, scripts and storyboards-- sometimes collaboratively, sometimes with minimal stakeholder input.
  • Edit audio and video, and guide the review and approval process through final delivery and beyond.
  • Support technical aspects of on-location and remote shoots. Production roles primarily include camera operator, grip/electric duties, and field audio technician.
  • Support in video admin as required, including publishing, sharing, archiving, tracking/reporting video analytics.
  • Create motion graphics and 2D animation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years relevant experience (in-house creative, or agency experience preferred; relevant freelance experience will be considered as well).
  • Experience in corporate video production; familiarity with needs of a B2B technology company.
  • Excellent critical thinking, written and verbal communication, organizational/project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with video hosting and social media platforms such as YouTube, Vidyard, LinkedIn etc.
  • Strong creative judgment to meet and exceed video quality and brand standards.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meeting and exceeding established sales quotas

We are looking for a dynamic Account Executive responsible for direct sales of AI based computer vision technology into manufacturing, industrial and logistic sectors in the US.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meeting and exceeding established sales quotas
  • Prospecting and progressing opportunities efficiently through funnel stages
  • Managing a complex, enterprise sales process with a 6- to 12-month purchasing cycle.
  • Owning all aspects of the sales process from identification of lead to closing an opportunity
  • Preparing presentations, presenting proposals, and negotiating contracts
  • Collaborating across the organization to leverage resources throughout sales process
  • Creating a territory strategy and plan and executing against it
  • Being well informed about current industry trends and being able to talk intelligently about the industry, including competition, competitive issues and products.
  • Participating and presenting at industry events and trade shows
  • Leveraging Salesforce.com – and effectively using the sales force automation tool to enter all sales information into this system to support accurate and proper forecasting / reporting.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years’ SaaS selling experience required
  • Ability to manage a pipeline of 50+ accounts at any given time
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Self starter with proven success in prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with C-level and other decision-makers
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to craft a solution with appropriate products and services that meets business goals based on client discussions

In addition:

  • This position requires the AE to work out of a home office or Austin, TX HQ if local
  • Travel of ~30% is required
  • Ideal location: Major metro area
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Manufacturing / Warehousing / Logistics in HSE
