The Developer Support Engineer is a critical role at Algolia. We’re on the front-lines and are often the first team customers contact when they need help with our products or services. We're looking for a Developer Support Engineer to assist our technical users with implementing Algolia in a variety of web and mobile development technical stacks.

As a Developer Support Engineer, you will partner with the customer success, product, and engineering teams to find the best solutions for our customers.. YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF:
- Handling technical requests via web and email support channels.
- Conducting professional and empathetic conversations with customers to gather information, troubleshoot, and resolve their technical obstacles.
- Submitting bug reports to the Engineering team for problems needing attention.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Be a Trusted Advisor; engage with our customers’ technical architects and business stakeholders to provide high-quality technical solutions and product training to drive successful customer outcomes

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

- 2+ years professional experience as a full-stack web developer
- Proficient in Javascript/HTML/CSS for the front-end

The Solutions Engineer is a critical part of the go-to-market team, working closely with the sales and solutions organizations, playing a major role in the revenue attainment of the company and the adoption and best practices of our customers.
The Algolia Solutions Engineer is responsible for delivering the technical win and product fit on opportunities and accounts. They lead the technical pre-sales relationship, work closely with SMB Account Executives, demonstrate the product and architecture, overcome objections, and offer creative and consultative solutions.
The Algolia Solution Engineer is both a highly technical product expert and a skilled relationship builder. They are comfortable showing an engaging communications experience to a CTO or developing a prototype with the API in communication with customer software engineers.
The ideal candidate gets excited talking to engineers, product managers, and CTOs, and also knows how to distill technical concepts to business value for all types of buyers.

YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF:
- Find new and creative ways to leverage our API by combining an eye for business needs with technical feasibility - The Solutions Engineer drives the technical win by demonstrating what is possible, and inspires business stakeholders and developers.
- Work with Sales Teams and prospects on their evaluation and adoption of Algolia solutions
- Understand and qualify customer goals and effectively articulate Algolia’s ability to meet them
- Assist in the Sales process including discovery, demo, Proofs of Concept (POC), RFP responses & business justification.
- Develop custom search applications leveraging the tools, frameworks, and partners of the Algolia ecosystem.
- Distill and advocate customer interests, needs and product feedback to Product and Engineering
- Continuously learn and update skills and keep aware of industry trends in the Search and Discovery space.
- Work with the Solution Architects and Customer Success teams on seamless transition to the post sales process to ensure highly successful onboarding.

The Solutions Engineer is a critical part of the go-to-market team, working closely with the sales and solutions organizations, playing a major role in the revenue attainment of the company and the adoption and best practices of our customers.
The Algolia Solutions Engineer is responsible for delivering the technical win and product fit on opportunities and accounts. They lead the technical pre-sales relationship, work closely with Account Executives, demonstrate the product and architecture, overcome objections, and offer creative and consultative solutions.
The Algolia Solution Engineer is both a highly technical product expert and a skilled relationship builder. They are comfortable showing an engaging communications experience to a CTO or developing a prototype with the API in communication with customer software engineers.
The ideal candidate gets excited talking to engineers, product managers, and CTOs, and also knows how to distill technical concepts to business value for all types of buyers.
The SE also is an important advocate for customer interests in product and engineering, creating compelling technical content, enabling other groups, and working on cross-company initiatives.

YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF:
- Find new and creative ways to leverage our API by combining an eye for business needs with technical feasibility - The Solutions Engineer drives the technical win by demonstrating what is possible, and inspires business stakeholders and developers.
- Work with Sales Teams and prospects on their evaluation and adoption of Algolia solutions
- Understand and qualify customer goals and effectively articulate Algolia’s ability to meet them
- Assist in the Sales process including discovery, demo, Proofs of Concept (POC), RFP responses & business justification.
- Develop custom search applications leveraging the tools, frameworks, and partners of the Algolia ecosystem.
- Distill and advocate customer interests, needs and product feedback to Product and Engineering
- Continuously learn and update skills and keep aware of industry trends in the Search and Discovery space, and contribute to thought leadership to make Algolia more accessible to the world.
- Work with the Solution Architects and Customer Success teams on seamless transition to the post sales process to ensure highly successful onboarding.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Metis team. We are responsible for Metis, the cloud-based scalable architecture for NeuralSearch, our AI search engine, which incorporates both keyword and vector search. Metis consists of distributed components which orchestrate the building and storage of indices containing customer data and then querying that data to return search results. The role requires understanding and solving the challenges that come with complex distributed systems.

We're looking for a Business Development Manager to be part of the fast paced AMER BDR team. You will have the unique opportunity to work cross functionally with a high paced Global BDR Org. You will be reporting directly to the Global Director of XDRs.
You will be responsible for the outbound business development team- working cross functionally with Marketing, Sales Ops, and Field Leaders. You will be an active contributor in shaping the global team and process. You will be expected to present and own the results of the US BDR team.
YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF:
- Hire, train, and manage a team of Outbound BDRs that support our growing Enterprise and Commercial segments.
- Own the business development funnel including process improvements and tool development to increase efficiency and reduce complexity
- Be very comfortable in the ability to use data to back decisions and initiatives
- Monitor and refine sales lead processes, metrics, and tools to maximize success on the BDR team - challenge the status quo

- 5+ Years of successful sales experience, preferably with a SaaS offering
- 2-3+ Years in a leadership role managing in a Business Development Environment

Algolia is looking for an experienced Gainsight Administrator to help drive the effectiveness of our global Customer Success teams with a focus on customer satisfaction, adoption, retention.
As a member of our global Customer Success (“CS”) Operations team, the Gainsight Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional business teams to develop CS strategies and craft the associated business requirements. They will translate these requirements into technical designs and implement these in Gainsight, while adhering to systems and data administration best practices. The Gainsight Administrator trains team members and business partners to use the workflows they’ve set up, teach users best practices, ensure successful technical deployments on a recurring basis, and engage in daily problem solving to ensure the team can use the system productively.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be a senior leader who is passionate about transforming operations from a supporting & reactive function, into an innovative, proactive and strategic driver. You will provide seasoned leadership and strategic support in the Go-to-Market disciplines of Forecasting and Analytics, Financial Planning, Sales Compensation Design, and Tooling.
You will support all of the GTM teams including Field Sales, Solution Engineering, Business Development, Customer Success, Internal Enablement, and Alliance/Channel and Marketing.
YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF:
- Painting a vision of the future and a “to be” state for the Ops team; enrolling the teams along the journey and being able to make decisions thoughtfully and in a timely manner.
- Provide strategic support to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) in comprehending the pipeline, forecasts, retention, and OKR’s. Additionally, apply strategic planning techniques to aid Sales leadership in optimizing sales and enhancing retention.
- Proactively recognizing business needs and building foundational principles, processes and metrics to scale to $1B in ARR.
- Partner with Revenue leadership to identify strategic priorities and opportunities for the team, overseeing objectives and key results, and ensuring focus is on highest-impact initiatives
- Optimizing sales and operational efficiency through innovative thinking, process improvement and sharing best practices across teams.
- Support executive deliverables such as Board Reviews, Executive QBRs, strategic planning, and more as needed
- Understand deeply all the disciplines and apply wisdom, benchmarks and best practices.
- Managing the Quote to Contract processes, including cross-functional partnerships with Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, Legal and Finance teams to improve execution of pre- and post-sales processes, including approval process, deal desk and contract management.
- Hiring, developing and retaining a high-performing team where inclusion and diversity of thought are leveraged for strategic and vision. You will lead a culture of mentorship, training, and success in the revenue organization.
- Crafting innovative strategies that promote customer retention and growth, increase efficiencies, and most importantly, solve for the ultimate customer experience as we enter a new phase of growth.
- Partnering with senior leadership to identify knowledge and skills gaps across the company through continuous needs assessments.
- Partnering with IT / Business Transformation Team to optimize the RevOps tech-stack
YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU HAVE:
- 10-15 years of experience in Revenue Operations in a SaaS or API company
- 5+ years experience leading and developing large teams, with particular focus on building teams for scale in a hyper-growth environment
- Experience supporting high velocity models (self-service & SMB) in addition to Enterprise market segments
- Proven success in deploying new client acquisition strategies using creative, data-driven tactics
- Knowledge of progressive techniques, including GTM tooling, Sales Methodologies and Change Management.
- Relevant experience at our current stage and beyond (over 10,000 customers, $200M to 500M ARR range, high growth, lots of change and building internal infrastructure).

About the Role :
We are seeking a seasoned Staff Product Manager to join our Search Scale team.
The Search Scale team is responsible for providing a scalable platform that adapts dynamically and transparently to the data profiles, usage patterns and indexing patterns of our customers. This includes both an Orchestration & Distribution Platform and Retrieval Engines (Keyword, Vector Engines), enabling the best AI Search in the World.
The Search Scale team primarily serves internal teams by building our core engine used as the foundation for our search, discovery and browse use case. They also need to understand our customers to ensure we can scale and serve a wide range of configurations, from small businesses to large enterprises.
YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF:
- Lead, define and communicate the strategy and vision for the Search Scale team with all stakeholders
- Working hand in hand with engineers and product managers from other teams to build your roadmap and empower them to deliver search fast and at scale.
- Identify areas in the product that can be platformized so we can maximize our impact when building new capabilities
- Understand the cloud and infrastructure landscape in-depth.
- Work with engineering to define the most suitable technical solution to support our growing range of customers.
- Find solutions to challenging use cases while keeping the platform simple to use.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to the rest of the organization including non-technical people.
- Train internal stakeholders on the platform to let them leverage it at its full potential
- Develop alliances with third-parties to build a successful product at the best cost possible and identify new opportunities.
- Work with engineering, design, product marketing, GTM sales, and customer support to help launch new products and support existing ones.
YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU HAVE:
- 7+ years of experience in product management building developer first products.
- 5+ years of technical knowledge: multi-tier distributed architecture, enterprise software infrastructure and related technologies
- 5+ years’ experience with Web, Cloud, and Infrastructure Technologies
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with search engines and search technologies
- Familiarity with ML/AI technologies
- Experience writing code - for fun, college, or work - is a plus.
- Preference for candidates with experience at our current stage and beyond (over 10,000 customers, $200-500M ARR range, high growth, lots of change and building internal infrastructure).
