About the role
As a Customer Director at Faculty, you'll be the client facing day-to-day commercial lead for a group of accounts within consumer industries such as Retail, FMCG and Travel. Reporting into the Business Unit Director, you will drive achievement of a sales target for your sector through cross-selling and upselling, ultimately increasing the value of your account group year on year. You will also oversee teams made up of Senior Managers, Engagement Managers and Associates who will focus on day to day client delivery.
Faculty's Consumer Business Unit enables retailers, travel operators and manufacturers to supercharge the way they use data to operate their businesses and engage with their consumers. In our work, we use state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to deliver millions of dollars of impact for some of the world's most recognisable brands. Our customers include billion-dollar retailers, high-end fashion companies and fast-growth direct-to-consumer businesses. The Sales team is responsible for helping to get our technology to these customers.
You are directly responsible for client satisfaction and engagement, driving client retention as well as helping uncover opportunities for account growth. You'll be executing care plans for high value clients including their onboarding, leading the day to day relationship, articulating product Return On Investment, driving wider adoption, sharing best practices and identifying growth opportunities.
Developing and implementing strategic account plans for clients in your sector.
Working closely with the BU Director on sales planning and forecasting.
Leading on pricing proposals, contract and commercial negotiations.
Building and growing relationships with budget holders in your account group.
Representing Faculty at industry events and networking in order to grow your client base.
Proactively looking for strategic and innovative use cases for our service offerings in order to continually demonstrate the value of our solutions to our clients.
Building Faculty’s and your own reputation amongst clients within your target sector.
Collaborating and partnering continuously with New Business teams.
Actively coaching and mentoring your sales and delivery team to ensure the team is successful, both in project delivery and their professional development.
Who we're looking for:
Experience in managing large complex stakeholder relationships, preferably agency/client.
A business development mindset and a desire to work in a high growth environment.
Familiarity with at least one sales methodology and the key principles behind effective sales techniques.
Whilst not mandatory, technical professional services or consulting experience is beneficial
Practical problem solver with strong analytical skills. You'll have experience translating technical concepts to how they can help solve novel client problems.
An ability to quickly understand what needs to be done, and proactively identify and implement solutions.
You are detail oriented and can balance multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with a diverse group of teams to get things done. You have experience managing deal processes.
While we don't expect you to be an Al expert, you should be at home working with technical teams and discussing data-oriented technical solutions.
