The Role
Overjet is growing! The Director of FP&A role is a key position within the Overjet ecosystem. This position will provide support to our key business stakeholders for financial planning and analysis. Additionally, the role will work with cross functional teams to lead various projects related to budget planning, forecasting, and financial operations. We’re excited to add someone to the team who has worked in high-growth software environments in the past and is able to execute independently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and improve the corporate financial planning model, business line forecasts, and ad hoc financial analysis
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders on company-wide strategic planning processes
- Drive regular reporting processes on business line KPIs, including build reporting dashboards and analysis for business review meetings
- Evaluate financial and operational results to better understand company performance and identify opportunities in both revenue growth and expense management
- Build relationships across the organization and become a trusted partner to our functional leaders in planning, financial, and analysis questions
- Benchmark our financials, set realistic targets based on a strong understanding of our business, and drive the company toward improved financial performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6+ years of experience in FP&A at a high growth software firm, investment banking, private equity, or similar training
- Exceptional financial modeling skills utilizing best practices around data management and dimensions
- Skilled with revenue, margin, and expense forecasting and modeling ideally with high growth software companies
- An expert in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, staying current on new functions and ensuring adoption
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights in high impact presentations
- Strong business judgment including an ability to execute independently and cross-team collaborate with a remote team
- Experience in designing business systems around operational and financial planning
- SQL proficiency is a plus
