ABOUT US

US health systems spend billions annually on clinical and administrative workflows that can be optimized with AI. These workflows cover a wide range of tasks including quality reporting, claims processing and clinical informatics. Completing these tasks often requires clinical experience so clinicians spend hundreds of hours per year on tasks that have no direct impact on patient care. Yet these tasks and the resulting data are vital for operations and long-term care quality improvement.

We use generative AI to assist clinicians with the data access, transformation and clinical inference steps that are key to health system operations. Tools like large language models allow flexibility when dealing with health data and can avoid the need for extensive dataset gathering and retraining. We believe that the application of AI to healthcare requires both high accuracy results as well as the production of supporting evidence.

WHAT YOU’LL DO IN THIS ROLE

We are looking for a business development leader to build partnerships and shape the direction of our product. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare SaaS sales and experience establishing pilot relationships with health systems directly or through their innovation centers.

As a founding member of our team you will:

  • Conduct customer discovery interviews to shape the short and long term visions for our product, including working alongside the founders to define the initial customer profile.
  • Build our pipeline of customers, including development partnerships to pilot our product, through outreach and our advisors.
  • Work closely with users to ensure product success and uncover additional business opportunities.
  • Develop distribution and marketing strategies.
  • Help direct the development of customer-facing software and experiences.

What we look for:

  • Minimum of 5 years of healthcare SaaS sales or startup business development experience.
  • Ability to understand the product you are selling as an expert.
  • Well organized, and you know how to qualify, prioritize, and multi-task effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong drive to win deals and create happy customers.
  • Enthusiasm about and exposure to generative AI systems like ChatGPT.
  • Desired: Experience with healthcare quality reporting or informatics software.
