Overview:
You will be part of a global team and responsible for all aspects of software engineering: Back-end & Front-end, Automation and CloudOps. You will be providing expert-level knowledge while taking an active part in the team’s sprints & initiatives. The team’s target is to ensure service availability is best in class - we aim to provide full business observability which includes a Synthetic Monitoring platform that serves the entire LivePerson’s engineering community, operational teams and strategic customers.
Team Technology & Programming Stack:
- Google Cloud Platform - Kubernetes, docker, GCF, PubSub and more
- Java (Spring boot) , NodeJS, Vue.JS
- AWS - S3 and Relational/NoSQL
- Big data technologies - Hadoop, Impala , ElasticSearch and Prometheus
- Websockets and API’s based services
You will:
- Design reviews for all key/complex designs and lead in research and development end2end GCP-based components (including Front-end and Back-end)
- Drive technical backlog creation and lead roadmap for technical components owned by the team
- Build and maintain a cutting edge Realtime Observability Monitoring Synthetic system which is resilient and scalable.
- Build and create Real Time automatic troubleshooting analysis tools based on Elasticsearch, Prometheus , Google PubSub, data flow, kafka and GCF.
- Partner closely with leaders across LivePerson to drive a culture of operational excellence by providing data driven insights as well as design, write, and deliver solutions for all developers to utilize.
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering field. - Must
- At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer - Must
- Proven experience with VueJS or NodeJS - Must
- Experience in one of the following cloud providers: AWS, GCP, Azure
- At least 3 years of experience as a front-end developer - Must
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Websockets - Advantage
- Experience with Hadoop and NoSQL DB’s - Advantage
