We’re looking for an experienced strategy and operations leader to work directly with our Chief Legal Officer (CLO) and her leadership team to drive key strategic initiatives and programs across the Legal & Business Affairs organization. As a member of the LB&A Leadership team you will work closely with the Chief Legal Officer to develop a strategic vision for the department, enhance the culture of the LB&A organization, manage the budget and expenses, develop a technology roadmap and implement programs and processes to drive efficiency.

What you’ll do:

  • Set the operating, planning, OKRs, and reporting rhythm for the CLO and the rest of the Legal & Business Affairs Leadership team.
    • Promote the Legal & Business Affairs organization’s mission and help translate goals and priorities into a strategic plan
  • Represent the LB&A organization in all company strategic planning processes and drive deadlines and deliverables across the leadership team.
  • Recruit and inspire a talented, diverse, inclusive team of project managers and operations individuals that focus on impact, improvement and consistently deliver results.
  • Manage responsible investment and resource allocation (headcount and budget) across the LB&A leadership team in partnership with Finance and HR.
  • Develop a technology roadmap for the Legal organization. Identify areas where technology and automation can drive increased efficiency and repeatable processes.
    • Partner with IT department to implement new technology and conduct system updates to increase efficiency
  • Develop metrics and KPIs for the Legal leadership team and identify process and cost-savings opportunities
    • Manage the eBilling system and ensure invoices adhere to the Billing Guidelines
    • Assist with RFPs, rate negotiations and law firm evaluations / scorecards
    • Partner with Finance and law firms / vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Drive internal communications and adoption of new programs and processes that impact LB&A and cross-functional teams, globally.

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of relevant legal operations and project management experience in a corporate environment strategy or operations function, 5+ years of experience managing people and growing teams.
  • Experience managing a team and strong leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; comfortable communicating with all levels of the organization
  • Strong finance skills, with the ability to analyze data for decision-making
  • Organized and detailed-oriented; ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team environment but also independently
  • Experience influencing and collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders in a large, matrixed organization.
