We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to work on physician-facing, voice-enabled mobile applications, and the backend data pipelines used to develop a structured representation of all relevant health data. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of computer science and engineering principles and concepts, as well as experience with designing, testing and implementing various software applications.

Job responsibilities and duties include:

  • Oversee integrations with external systems to deliver gathered data to stakeholders

  • Maintain existing features and projects, including fixing bugs and refactoring code

  • Write code in Python and Typescript, using ReactJS, NodeJS, ExpressJS, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL

  • Leverage tools including Asana, Github, and Confluence to prioritize work and communicate on its progress

  • Draft proposals in Notable’s project tracking (Asana) and documentation (confluence) systems, to be reviewed by peer engineers and senior engineering leadership, and developing new features for the Company

  • Oversee deployment of work using Jenkins and Concourse Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines, to Company’s production environment

  • Reviewing peers’ code (Python and Typescript) and proposals (found on Github, Confluence, Asana) for any errors or to see if improvements can be made

  • Provide engineering expertise for technical decisions and implementations

  • Interface with customers regarding Company’s products and services

  • Solve complex problems by breaking them up into simpler discrete problems and implement them across multiple services

  • Up to 10% domestic travel may be required

This position does not supervise any other personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 3 year(s) of experience in the job-offered or related position(s) designing, testing and implementing various software applications

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:

  • Debugging

  • Coding Languages and Frameworks: Typescript, React, Node.JS, Express.JS, Kubernetes and PostgreSQL

  • Modern web app development including implementing responsive web application front-ends interacting with micro-services backend

  • Experience in DB schema and migrations, implementing backend web APIs, handling complex business logic, optimizing backend performance and following all security best practices

  • Experience implementing responsive single page web applications following accessibility guidelines, adhering to UI/UX designs
