Overview:
Our goal is to deliver the next-generation of Conversational AI (CAI) by leveraging and creating the latest in Generative AI technology. We are looking for a Senior Data Science / Machine Learning Scientist to join our multidisciplinary team of Scientists and Engineers creating, pursuing, and implementing cutting-edge technologies to support exceptional conversational experiences.
You will:
- Conceive, develop, and train novel Generative AI techniques and approaches to solve real customer problems.
- Leverage over 1 Billion conversations to deliver state-of-the-art Conversational AI products at a global scale to tens of millions of consumers
- Bridge the gap between (in-house and external) Generative AI capabilities and applications that use them to automate conversations at scale.
- Work with engineers to implement, deliver, and maintain models in production
- Identify and rapidly prototype supporting technologies to showcase conversational elegance
- Collaborate with other Scientists and Engineers to publish your work at top-tier conferences
You have:
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- 5+ years of industry/academic experience with AI systems
- Python Proficiency
- Deep expertise in at least one area of Natural Language Understanding and/or Conversational AI techniques such as Information Retrieval, Named Entity Recognition, Dialogue Management, etc.
- Experience with Large Language Models
- Proven track record of participating in top-tier NLP / AI conferences such as ACL, NeurIPS, EMNLP, SIGdial, etc.
- Experience with communicating insights and presenting concepts to diverse audiences.
- Team player mindset and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience designing conversational experiences for an end-user
- Experience conducting usability studies and focus groups
- Experience deploying Machine Learning models into production
- Participation the LLM Open Source Community
- Experience with training Large Language Models
The salary range for this role will be between $150,000 to $190,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, your location, skills, experience, education, and/or certifications. During the phone screening, the recruiter will provide the location-specific salary range for this role.
