We are recruiting to expand our Cricket team, which follows the sun around the globe working on a variety of cricket events. ❓ABOUT OUR CRICKET TECHNOLOGY Β»

As a Cricket Systems Operator, you will be responsible for delivering our world-renowned ball-tracking, edge-detection, and Match Officials' communications technologies, as well as providing other officiating and broadcast-enhancing technologies at cricket events around the world. This role provides a genuine opportunity to create a direct impact on the biggest occasions and moments in cricket; this could be providing an LBW call during a Test match at Lords; or telling the story of the decisive bowling spell during the Cricket World Cup Final.

πŸ’ΌWhat does a Systems Operator do?

  • Installation and setup of Hawk-Eye technology in the lead-up to matches, and performing pre-match checks (this can involve physically demanding work, such as rigging cameras and running cables);

  • Liaise with key stakeholders from broadcasters companies, match officials and teams to ensure all contractual obligations are seamlessly delivered;

  • Monitoring and operating the various Hawk-Eye cricket technologies during every ball of the match;

  • Providing quick resolutions for any technical issues;

  • Taking full responsibility for our system on-site and representing our company in the best possible manner;

  • Research and development into new projects and technologies;

  • Involvement in the launch and implementation of new products in the Cricket world;

  • Maintenance of kit and equipment needed to run the system.

Essential:

  • Flexible and willing to travel extensively;

  • Studying for an undergraduate degree

Preferred:

  • Ideally studying for a degree in a science, technology, computing, engineering or mathematics course

  • High standard of computer literacy with a technical grounding;

  • Knowledge of Cricket would be an asset!
