About the team & opportunity
Ontra is seeking a Business Development Operations Analyst reporting to our Business Development Operations Manager.
The Business Development Operations Analyst will supply the global revenue teams of our business with the knowledge they need to close deals more efficiently, conduct marketing activities to the correct stakeholders at these customers, and create a full view into what our market truly looks like through acquiring and analyzing market data. This individual will be responsible for managing internal processes to ensure alignment across the functional teams, ultimately aiding in the execution of a cross-functional strategy to obtain data from across the globe.

What you’ll do
- Project Management: Manage internal processes to ensure alignment across teams
- Testing: Continuous testing and assessing results of strategies, processes and/or tactics to assess performance
- Strategy: Create strategies for acquiring and maintaining our global market data and implementing them across the organization
- Processes: Aid in the implementation and execution of consistent, structure processes of the Business Development Operations team
- Salesforce: Work within Salesforce to ensure the Sales and Account Management teams are supplemented with relevant and accurate data acquired by your team
- Excel and Google Sheets: Develop data analysis and hygienic practices for team initiatives, internally and externally from RevOps
What you’ll bring
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales, revenue operations, or project management; experience working with remotely distributed, global teams preferred
- Technical knowledge: High proficiency or expert level experience of Salesforce and Excel/Microsoft Office and Google Sheets/Google Suite
- Test & learn mindset: Willingness to continuously come up with new ideas, test them out, and assess their results
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- People skills: Ability to develop people and work with them as they grow in their careers and the organization
- Organization and planning: Detail-oriented; Thinks and plans logically
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust quickly to changing markets and responsibilities within a fast-paced environment

In addition to cash salary, the total compensation package Ontra offers includes unit-based compensation (if applicable). Certain roles in our sales and account management departments may also be eligible to receive variable compensation or commission.
