You will be part of a team that conceptualises, develops, tests, and integrates novel AI algorithms based on state of the art research for our distributed perception platform and edge capabilities.
What you will work on
You will develop, train and evaluate novel Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms and methods that allow perception at the edge and decision support for real world applications in distributed and decentralised environments.
Who we are looking for
- MSc or Ph.D. in robotics, computer science, engineering or related field
- Experienced in conceptualising, implementing and thoroughly evaluating advanced AI-based systems
- Solid communication skills and the ability to report and present research findings clearly and efficiently both internally and externally
- Passionate about keeping up to date with current research and having fun to reimplement and extend papers on state of the art Deep Learning and Machine Learning-based approaches
- Solid software engineering skills, writing clean and well-structured code in python and/or modern C++
Nice to Have
- PhD in robotics, computer science, engineering or related field
- You have designed, developed, evaluated state of the art AI methods on edge devices with limited compute resources
- Hands-on experience with one of the following: Object Tracking , Object Detection, Metric Learning for Few- and Zero-Shot learning, or Generative Models
- Good grasp of modern neural network architectures e.g., FPN, SPP, Transformers, Graph NNs, etc
- Authored publications in top-tier conferences, e.g., CVPR, NIPS, ICCV, ICRA, IROS, etc
- Exposure to end-to-end product delivery by leading technical discussions and projects
- Experience developing or using high-fidelity simulation tools to generate realistic sonar data.
- Familiarity with pipelines for passive and active sonar applications, current research directions and strong opinions on the applicability of AI in this domain
- Expertise of fusion approaches for multi-sensor sonar systems for the purposes of understanding multiple sources
- Experience developing or using high-fidelity simulation tools to generate realistic signal data.
- Familiarity with pipelines for ELINT, Electronic Attack, Electronic Support, and Electronic Protect, and current research on the applicability of AI in these domains.
