The Role:
We are seeking a Scrum Master to facilitate the development work and allow teams to scale to the next level and beyond.
You will join our engineering team and further define and facilitate our scrum development processes.
You will guide and coach the local teams to become self-organized and facilitate efficient internal and external communication to provide transparency to all directions and stakeholders.
This is a key role for our organization as we prepare for more growth.
Your experience in empowering high-performance teams in a distributed environment is essential.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work with Customers, Engineering, Sales, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to prepare a Roadmap for our Financial Data strategy.
- A professional track record in software development.
- Prior Scrum Master experience.
- Serving as a liaison between product and development.
- Organize, prioritize, and break down the backlog of the team.
- Perform long-term planning and clarify requirements.
- Drive and coordinate milestones and final releases for customers.
- Manage Risks & Dependencies.
What we are looking for:
- A minimum of five years of professional track record in software development
- Experience with an iterative Agile methodologies and use of tools like JIRA, Wiki, Git, Jenkins
- Minimum 2 years of Scrum Master experience
- Ability to understand the technical requirements and designs that team is working on
- Higher education degree in relevant technical discipline such as Computer Science or Engineering
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both in a team environment and independently
- Excellent team player who can still work independently
- Strong Leadership skills and servant leader mentality
- Understanding on some programming languages, development practices is needed
What we consider a plus:
- Experience of working in Kanban
- Experience of working in Scaled Agile
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams is preferred
- Previous experience of working as Developer (Java/JS) or an Automation tester
