As Head of Product at TeachFX, you'll be a key leader of our company as we scale, and you’ll help define TeachFX’s product strategy and culture. You’ll build the systems that support our growth, take ownership of projects from inception to completion, and dive into user research, ensuring our products always align with the needs of educators. Responsibilities:
Leadership: Play a key role in product strategy, priorities, and culture. Create and evolve the vision for TeachFX's products, ensuring they resonate with our users and application partners.
Recruitment: Grow our product team, developing a best-in-class hiring process that attracts talented and mission-aligned engineers.
Strategy & Planning: Collaborate closely with senior leadership to set the roadmap and scope projects. Use both qualitative and quantitative data effectively to make strategic product decisions.
Implementation: Define and manage projects tasks and team responsibilities. Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to discover, define, and launch new impactful features and products.
Feedback & Iteration: Always be on the lookout for learnings with user research, ensuring our product remains relevant and beneficial to its users.
Data-driven Decision Making: Balance the use of qualitative and quantitative insights to guide product development, ensuring we meet customer needs and further our business goals.
Process: Work with the team to set our engineering velocity and culture, ensuring both speed and quality.

You have 5+ years of product management experience with a minimum of 3 years as a senior PM or equivalent

Conduct cutting-edge research in machine learning

Qualifications:
PhD in Computer Science, Linguistics or equivalent field
Strong foundation in machine learning, with a focus on real-world applications of ASR or other speech tasks
Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, as evidenced by published papers in recognized journals or conferences.
Expertise in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
Collaborative spirit, with the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
