The impact you’ll have
As an Applied Scientist, you will be strengthening the Gretel team with your expertise in generative modeling, working on ways to create high quality synthetic data to safely share without privacy constraints while enabling model training performance. You'll be building cutting edge deep learning models to unlock customer data via generative AI.
With over 75k developers using Gretel’s platform, hundreds of thousands of models trained, and hundreds of billions of records trained, the impact you can have on the synthetic data industry is massive, and there is so much more to do!
You'll work in the following areas:
Come up with novel algorithmic and systems solutions to pursue in the advancement of building foundational models.
Be involved in end-to-end development, exploring new applications and techniques, build distributed systems, study privacy first generative models, and launch production systems.
Train Models from scratch to improve the performance of low resource data by developing systems, data processing pipelines, and incorporating feedback from our customers.
Requirements
M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of industry experience in two or more of the following areas:
NLP, Deep learning, Language Modeling, Generative modeling
Strong coding skills and deep experience working with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, HuggingFace, PyTorch, OpenCV, Fairlearn, or MLflow
Deep experience with ML techniques such as Transformers, LSTM, GANs, CNNs, Graph Neural Networks, or other deep gradient based methods
Strong communication skills -– you are able to clearly express ideas both verbally and in written form. We’re a distributed team so we’re extra mindful about communication.
Nice to haves
Experience generating synthetic data for a variety of use cases.
Past experience in creating high-performance implementations of deep learning algorithms
Familiarity with:
Slurm, MPI, Ray, Distributed Systems, Model Parallelism, FSDP

The Impact You'll Have
As a Staff Software Engineer focused on backend and cloud technologies, you will play a critical role in enhancing the reliability, efficiency, infrastructure, and security of Gretel's platform. In this position, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust backend systems and integrations within cloud environments. This work is highly impactful and will contribute to the growth and success of Gretel’s platform with new and existing customers.
What You Will Do
Work closely with the backend engineering team, building direct and native integrations with partner platforms
Be a core contributor of code, tests, and application/data/systems architecture on a small team of engineers working across the stack
Own both customer and developer happiness for your products in production, working with your own and other teams to build operational transparency and resiliency into every layer of deployed applications
Coordinate with engineering and product leads to define, prioritize, and task projects that help us meet business objectives with our partners
Requirements
A minimum of 7+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience building on cloud provider platforms
Proven expertise in designing and implementing serverless and microservice architectures using cloud-native technologies
Familiarity with platforms such as AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
Demonstrated experience in working on complex software projects and a track record of delivering technical excellence

The Impact You'll Have
Gretel is looking for a strategic Product Marketing Manager to drive and scale enterprise growth for our synthetic data platform and APIs. You will help our customers and users understand the value of and how to use Gretel’s synthetic data models to unlock enterprise value, including how to integrate them into workflows and data pipelines. This role requires critical thinking skills, an inherent curiosity to dig deeply into technical products, and excellent stakeholder management abilities.
You’ll join a team of collaborative cross-functional product marketers that drive a number of critical initiatives that contribute to pipeline growth and help drive market awareness of synthetic data. These will include product releases, sales enablement, solutions and partner marketing as well as partnering with growth marketing for lead generation, and campaign support. Become a market expert - develop an understanding of synthetic data developer workflows, how enterprises work with data and how our products integrate with modern tech stacks
Serve as a consensus builder between teams to ensure the voice of the customer becomes a critical component of how we scale
Collaborate with product management and sales teams to define the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new product launches and updates.
Create sales enablement materials, including product guides, sales decks, and battlecards, to empower the sales team to effectively sell technical products.

Skilled in building business champions and running a complex sales process.
Strong discovery, objection handling, negotiating and closing skills.
