Distyl AI Fellows Program is an unique opportunity for graduate students and researchers to work at the vanguard of AI technology. In collaboration with Fortune 500 customers, alliance members like OpenAI, and our team at Distyl AI, fellows will have the chance to make a real impact in the AI industry.
We currently offer the Distyl AI Fellowship along three distinct tracks:
Data Systems track: Carry out novel research in developing Information Retrieval (IR) systems with our crack team of IR experts. You will carry out this research in conjunction with academia (e.g. University of Waterloo) and industry (e.g. F500 customers). This is an opportunity deploy your work directly to many of our customers, as well as publish in premier conferences (e.g. SIGMOD).
Reliability track: Conduct research to enhance the reliability, safety, and performance of AI models, with a focus on model vetting, evaluation, and robustness. At the end of your fellowship, you will have the platform to share your findings with the community through various channels, including publications and posters. Additionally, you will see your work implemented at some of the most critical institutions of our society.
UX track: Conduct research and experimentation in AI user experience (UX) design, with the goal of making AI systems more understandable, accessible, and user-friendly. At the conclusion of your fellowship, you will have the opportunity to present your experiments to the world, and see your work operationalized at some of the most iconic institutions.
Throughout your fellowship, you will gain exposure to current technologies, acquire experience working on real-world projects in the AI industry, and collaborate with some of the best experts in the AI space.
